That's it for the Frostbite Series 2022!

Another year and another Frostbite Series has come to a close!  Despite the relentless rolling in of Atlantic storms, NYC race officer Emily Cook managed to get in 12 races for a series that is most likely to be remembered for being either windy or even windier! 

The sailors proved up to the challenge though with some close racing in up to 25 knots of wind with the junior sailors often showing the oldies how it's done by staying upright and dry! 

Don't worry though, the rescue boat crews still got plenty of practice... Thank you  Vaughan, Luke, Leigh, Paul, Jon and Roger for sitting out there in the cold and keeping everyone safe! 

After the final race the sailors convened for a prize-giving in the Alumchine where Trophies were presented to the overall winners.

Special mentions must go to Noah who took the Div 2 win with a lowest finish of 2nd place and Eloise having only moved up from her Topper this series came tantalisingly close to the win in Div 1. Both bright stars of the future no doubt!

Division 2

1st - RS Tera, Noah Sutton

2nd - RS Tera, Keira Edwards

3rd - RS Tera, Amelia Nutall
